Known for their odd-numbered life cycles, this particular Cyclochilia Australasiae is a rare Southern Australian Cicada, named The Blue Moon (Turquoise form) which remains as a nymph underground for 7 years living off plant root sap before emerging in adult form.
These rings are hand forged in solid sterling silver and paired with Natural Royston Turquoise. layered bands with a rustic, earthy texture are stamped with symbolic stars. A cicada silhouette graces the band of each ring with summery flora on the side.
